The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The support is stable. Minor frame abrasion to the extreme edges and light surface soiling. Examined under ultraviolet light. The panel presents with a milky green varnish. With short strokes of inpainting to the edges, particularly to the lower center ground and extreme upper edge of sky. Please note Christie's does not guarantee the condition of frames.
